Professor Phinu Jose is an MBA from Gulbarga University and has previously been the Lady Associate NCC Officer at Christ University from 2008 to 2014. Presently associated with the Department of Management Studies, she has keen interest in studying Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in addition to this she is also interested in facilitating Learner-Centred Teaching along with Communication and Marketing. She is active and enthusiastic about sport, art and any value-addition activities that enhance the student-community.
Prof. Phinu Jose in her capacity as the Director of CSA, will be overall in charge of General Administration of CSA, Urban Projects and most importantly Student-Volunteer Programmes.
Mr. Mathew CP is currently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work of Christ University. He possesses a Master’s degree in Social Work from Pune University, MA (English Literature) from Devi Ahilya University, Indore and M.Phil - Social Work from Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, Tamilnadu. Mr. Mathew has extensive experience in the field of teaching and practice. He has more than 5 years of NGO experience as coordinator, programme administration and has 15 years of teaching experience. He handled many responsible positions other than teaching like Head of the Department, Course Coordinator, Nodal Director-Childline, Centre Superintendent of Examinations, Faculty in charge of Saksham Project, Associate NCC Officer etc. His voluntary experiences as well as part time assignments are enormous. He worked as the part time Professional Social Worker for Missionaries of Charity for adoption services for more than 15 years. Mr.Mathew has published 13 Articles in National and International Journals and Books. He has presented his paper in 14 conferences held nationally and internationally. He has attended 27 conferences at National and International level. He has successfully completed 3 MOOCs (Massive Online Open Course) offered by reputed International Universities. He has undertaken 10 research studies as part of his consultancy work and academic requirements.
His expertise at social work practice and community intervention will definitely infuse fresh energy and enthusiasm in his role as Rural (External) Projects In charge from now on at the CSA.
Dr. Victor Paul is an excellent blend of Development and Education. He has worked as the Country Director of Education Development Centre (EDC) and Chief of Party for USAID supported T4 project in India, a technology based project supporting state governments in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi to increase equity, access and quality in over 350,000 Government schools and reaching over 42 million children.
Dr. Victor Paul’s 28 years of experience in areas like NGO Management, Project Planning and Management, Teacher Development, Curriculum Development, Developing ICT tools for Teaching & Learning, Emergency Management and Response, Leading and managing cross-cultural teams in multiple locations and humanitarian and development issues especially those related to children, gave him an opportunity to learn and develop innovative programmes in the development sector.
Currently, working with Christ University Bangalore coordinating the Departments of Sociology and Social Work. Prior to this assignment, he has worked with national and international organizations like EDC, CARE and UNICEF, leading Educational / developmental projects in various sectors like Education, Community Development, Labour Welfare & Personnel management, networking, capacity building of NGOs, Training, Disaster Relief & Reconstruction. Dr. Victor Paul has been associated with the CSA in different capacities, and will continue to support the team in every aspect but primarily be in charge of International Relations of CSA.
